Our FAMILY FARMEleven humans, one dog, a few cats and hundreds of baby Christmas trees
It’s all about Family
We are a close knit family and all of the animals (and people) on the farm are very important to us. Say hello to our new cats Snuggles and India, who will love a fuss when you are around the top of the farm and the Cowshed.
The Cowpots Family
Currently we are 11 humans, one dog, a few cats and hundreds of baby christmas trees.
Mary Lou (MUM)
Keeping it all together for everyone at Penback Farm! Mostly in charge of running the Cowshed you're bound to see her making pizzas whilst organising everything and everyone.
Ask him about Mother - In - Law jokes to your peril! (Don't bring up politics!) Chief cook with the wood fired pizza oven. He loves a good chat and will be interested to hear about your story.
Will (Ice Cream Maker)
Best Ice Cream producer in the world... or so we like to think! If not making or delivering Ice Cream you might catch him lending a hand in the Cowshed. Will lives on the farm with his wife and two children.
Martin (Campsite chief)
Keeping it all together on the campsite! In charge of running the Campsite at Cowpots and making sure all of the campers have what they need.
AMELIA AND CO (CHIEF CAMPSITE TESTERS)
Social media, admin and events coordinator. Amelia works closely with Martin to develop all areas of the campsite experience, with the aim to make sure you have the best experience at Cowpots! Amelia also runs onsite mindfulness and yoga classes and retreats for children, families and adults.
Dylan and Tomos
Leaders of the Free Range Children Movement. Dylan and Tomos can often be found onsite, testing out our theory that children are happiest when they roam free!
Sadly we have now said goodbye to our Jersey herd 🙁
Maisie the collie
She might be growling at your feet but there's no bite in her! Very fond of playing with children and children with her but dont let a football near her!
Baby Christmas Trees
We are in the early years of growing Christmas trees, you'll see them planted in rows in a few of the farm fields. Please be kind to them and don't allow them to be damaged in any way.
PLEASE Respect Farm Life
Penback Farm is still a working farm which means that there will be times that tractors will use the lane that leads to the campsite in order to do the necessary operations of farm life. There will still be grass to mow all over the farm.
We are also in the early years of growing Christmas trees, you’ll see them planted in rows in a few of the farm fields so please don’t allow them to be damaged in any way
BOOK A CAMPING PITCH
The campsite at Cowpots will be open from April to October.
